On 9th of June in the Art Studio Vincent Van Katt we held an art master class for Ukrainian newcomer kids.
During April, volunteers Julia Sitnikova and Dennis Martinsson organized trips from the migration center in Arlöv to Leo’s Lekland entertainment center for families with kids.
On a nice sunny afternoon at the end of April, over a hundred people enjoyed a family picnic at Ribersborg beach.
Art lovers and technology enthusiasts took part in the NFT live auction.
It is always busy at the parking lot next to the Migrations Agency in Malmö – we are distributing essentials, offering a cup of hot coffee, and sharing a couple of kind words with the dozens of inhabitants, both big and small, of the refugee hotel. We’d love you to come to share these moments with us!
When the first Ukrainian refugees started to arrive in Malmö, the war had already been going on for a week. We knew that Romania, Moldova, Poland, Germany, and other countries were actively receiving thousands of Ukrainian people- so we had been expecting people to come to Sweden too, though it took them some time.
