SMALL EFFORTS MAKE BIG CHANGES

Welcome to Malmö Helps

Founded in February 2022 in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Malmö Helps has grown from a small group of volunteers into one of southern Sweden’s leading humanitarian organizations. Our mission is to provide critical support to refugees, helping them rebuild their lives in a new country.

To date, we’ve assisted over 20,000 refugees with humanitarian aid and informational support. Our dedicated volunteers are present every day, creating a sense of community and offering practical help.

Through social and cultural projects funded by MUCF and ESF grants (CARE), more than 1,000 refugees have participated in initiatives that support their integration into Swedish society, with over 150 finding employment.

We collaborate with key organizations like ABF, Svenska Kyrka, Läkare i Världen, and Lund University to strengthen our efforts. At Malmö Helps, we believe small actions lead to big change, and together, we can make a real difference for those who have fled their homes.
